The pub is available for functions, such as anniversaries, parties, birthdays and wedding receptions. It is also an ideal venue for car club and motorcyle meetings. Corporate games evenings welcome.

The Volunteer Inn is situated on the main A338 1.5 miles north of Wantage & 12 miles south-west of Oxford.
There is a regular bus service to and from Oxford that stops outside of the pub.
